A SUPERB & SPECTACULAR RAINBOW colored tourmaline crystal from Goma in the Eastern Congo.
Showing purple, pink, orange, yellow, green and a light blue, this crystal comes so close to having every color of the rainbow, in the right order of spectrum colors, but doesn’t quite have the full red.
Also attached is pics and vid of the kaleidoscope of rainbow colors in a giant 5 kilogram+ tourmaline lot.
The tourmaline mines at Goma have been closed for a month or two, but, are about to reopen again after being the victim of unintended consequences of a struggle regarding the rights of the surrounding manganese mines.
Lastly, is a picture of the actual tourmaline mine given to me by a Goman gemstone dealer that came to visit Chanthaburi and Bangkok.
